From Face to-Face to Teleworking: A Literature Review on How Different Types of Work Affect Psychological Well-Being

In 2022, the pandemic showed first signs of diminishing virulence and lethality coronavirus its variants. Gradually, workers had to re-adapt from mandatory teleworking into a massive comeback face-to-face work, while some preferred stay home office. Through extensive archival research, this research investigated different types work their influence on Psychological Well-Being (PWB) in Brazilian IT industry. Key findings revealed psychological fallout caused by pandemic, affecting not only workers’ performance but also way should work. Some prefer staying due fewer distances traveled lower mobility costs, for instance. contrast, others because it facilitates communication meetings, helps establish trust, clarity conversations, saves time during workday. Finally, we found evidence that improve satisfaction PWB.
